Jhosseline is originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador and moved to the United States at the age of 14 in pursuit of the American Dream. From a very young age, she was drawn to her two passions … music and fitness. Jhosseline says “I remember waking up at 5 am in the mornings with my grandma to go on runs with her girlfriends. I didn’t see it as a ‘have to’, but as an ‘I get to’ do this every day. It was exciting to me.”
Jhosseline moved Dix Hills, NY where she became involved in High School Track and Field and excelled in short distance races and hurdles. It was definitely her passion but an important outlet for her as well.
At the age of 16 things changed for her and she was not able to be part of the team anymore, but she kept fitness in her life as a way to stay strong through life’s struggles. When Jhosseline was 18, she became part of a family from her church, which allowed her to keep going and set new goals for herself. They encouraged her to continue her education and enroll in Palm Beach Atlantic University. Jhosseline happily chose to pursue her passion for fitness and graduated with a BS in Exercise Science in 2018. She also began running again on the Cross-Country Track Team and volunteering with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes where she had the opportunity to sing and lead worship services. Jhosseline overcame many odds growing up and feels strongly that her faith in God combined with holding on to her dreams and passions for what she loved is what got her through it. She believes that our dreams are what keep us alive and we should invest in them and pursue them with everything we’ve got. Jhosseline will make an amazing addition to our studio management team as her genuine, strong and caring personality shines through.
