Prince William rides electric scooter through Windsor Castle

A video of Prince William riding an electric scooter into Windsor Castle has gone viral. It’s a sight to behold.

It’s unclear when the footage was taken, but the clip was shared on TikTok on Thursday.

Dressed in a blue sweater and a white collared shirt, the future king is seen speeding past a guard on the estate. The Duke of Cambridge, 42, also wears black sunglasses.

The scooter could help shorten the 10-minute drive between the castle and Adelaide Cottage, where he lives with Kate Middleton and their three children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

Prince William reportedly invested in the device last year. According to the Sun, the scooter could cost up to $6,000.

“It just makes sense. He rushes to the castle if he has to see the king,” a source told the outlet.

“It’s a two to three mile return trip from his parents’ home at Adelaide Cottage to Windsor Castle, so it’s easier to do by scooter than by car or on foot.”

The 655-acre residence also includes a golf course and the former home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Frogmore House.

Prince William is also a fan of motorbikes. In 2015, Middleton was reportedly asked about her husband’s then-hobby during a visit to Dundee.

“He still rides it. It always fills me with horror when he gets on it. I’m terrified,” she reportedly said, via Vanity Fair . “Hopefully I keep George off it.”

The Prince of Wales also made headlines recently when he attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour with Charlotte and George on his 42nd birthday — and showed off his dance moves. Middleton, 42, and Louis stayed home, though the Princess of Wales did attend Trooping the Colour festivities on June 15 amid her battle with cancer.

“Thank you @taylorswift for an amazing night! #LondonTSTheErastour,” the official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales captioned a photo of Swift taking a selfie with the royals, George and Charlotte.

Swift shared her own photo, with boyfriend Travis Kelce. She wrote: “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a great start.”
